Lasting Impressions

What kind of lasting impressions are you making?

If you don't make any impression, you aren't affecting anyone. No Impression means no impact.

Acts 17:6-7

But when they did not find them, they dragged Jason and some other believers before the city officials, shouting: “These men who have caused trouble all over the world have now come here, 7 and, Jason has welcomed them into his house.

Acts 20:17-19

“From Miletus he sent a message to Ephesus, asking  the elders of the church to meet him. When they came to him, he said to them: “You yourselves know how I lived among you the entire time from the first day that I set foot in Asia, serving the Lord with all humility and with tears, enduring the trials that came to me through the plots of the Jews.

Continue to serve him Humbly enduring what comes your way.

1 Corinthians 3:12-16

“Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw— the work of each builder will become visible, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each has done. If what has been built on the foundation survives, the builder will receive a reward. If the work is burned up, the builder will suffer loss; the builder will be saved, but only as through fire.”

Acts 20:20-21

20 I did not shrink from doing anything helpful, proclaiming the message to you and teaching you publicly and from house to house, as I testified to both Jews and Greeks about repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus.

Don’t grow weary in doing well to all.

You never know what kind of impression you are going to make by doing the right thing. You don’t want to do the wrong thing and give someone the wrong impression. You have the choice to do the right thing.

Finish the race

Acts 20:24

24 But I do not count my life of any value to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God's grace

Stay awake

Acts 20:31

Therefore be alert, remembering that for three years I did not cease night or day to warn everyone with tears.

Set the example for others

Acts 20:35

In all this I have given you an example that by such work we must support the weak, remembering the words of the Lord Jesus, for he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

You are making a lasting impression on many people. What do you want them to remember about you?
